Napier University are holding an event on Ada Lavelace Day (13th October) with Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE from the BBC's "Sky at Night"
With science and technology playing such a critical role in our lives why do so few girls take up careers in STEM (science technology engineering and Maths)? Maggie will explore why we need women in these areas and outline the three pronged approach that she is undertaking to encourage everyone to take up these subjects, discussing what we can do to develop a technological future for us all.
