The School of Engineering is developing plans to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first Regius Chair of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh in 1868.
2018 will mark the 150th anniversary of the Regius Chair of Engineering, thus establishing engineering studies at the University of Edinburgh on a par with the best in the UK. The School of Engineering will be marking this significant anniversary with a programme of events and activities. Planning has begun, and we also want to receive ideas and suggestions from our community of staff, students and alumni – or indeed anyone with a great idea!
The inaugural "Celebrate Chemical Engineering" event organised by Dr Lev Sarkisov and hosted at the School of Engineering took place on Friday 13 March.
