Stephen Hugh Salter (1938–2024) was an Emeritus Professor of Engineering Design at the University of Edinburgh and inventor of the eponymous Salter duck wave energy device.
The UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Centre (UKCCSRC) leads and coordinates a programme of underpinning research on all aspects of CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) in support of basic science and UK government efforts on energy and climate change.
