Sanderson Building, Classroom 3
Self-Publishing – An alternative route to traditional methods.
Seminar key points:
- Introduction – Who I am. Early life and education and what inspired me to pick up a book.
- Progression – Explaining the people around me who rekindled my love of books and the subsequent interest in writing (the struggles of finding the right genre).
- Writing – My personal process and how I come up with a story. The pitfalls many aspiring writers (Including myself) fall victim to and how I manage to apply self-discipline to progress.
- Publication – The options open to those who wish to release their work off their own back, instead of the traditional methods of going to an agent/publisher.
