We have extensive lab facilities and modelling expertise to support our activities in applied superconductivity, with the ability to test superconducting coils and tapes down to 20K in the largest cryostat in the UK.
Our cryogenic system ensures that the temperature inside the Dewar can be reduced to 30 K. We currently have two Dewars—one large and one small. The small Dewar has already been successfully tested, demonstrating stable cooling performance.
We have conducted numerous tests on superconducting coils and motor components, supported by a high-performance power supply that ensures precise and stable operation during experiments.
