Dr Hyungwoong Ahn's research project "Low carbon coal-to-H2 process" has qualified for the finals of the IChemE Global Awards 2016 within the Energy category.

3 out of 4 recent Scottish Engineering Hall of Fame additions are alumni of the University of Edinburgh’s School of Engineering. These include telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell, lighthouse designer Robert Stevenson and structural engineer Sir Duncan Michael.

The Engineering Teaching Organisation greatly enjoyed welcoming all of our new students to The School of Engineering during welcome week.
