The British Society of Rheology Midwinter Meeting will be held at The University of Edinburgh from 15th-17th December 2025.

Known affectionately as the "Winter Solstice" meeting, the BSR Midwinter conference is the main focal point of the British Rheology calendar. It brings together those working in fundamental and applied rheology for a single track, engaging meeting that encourages open dialogue, participation and collaboration. This year we will showcase the Wide-Ranging Applications of Rheology, with invited talks covering diverse areas including biology, geoscience, food science and engineering. The conference dinner will be held on 16th December at a popular Edinburgh establishment.

We particularly encourage Early Career Researchers to present their work at the meeting, and instructions for abstract submission are given below.
