A consortium of three internationally-leading UK institutions (Edinburgh University, Warwick University, and Daresbury Laboratory) are seeking a Research Associate to develop new modelling capabilities for multiscale interfacial fluid dynamics. This is part of a flagship £3.4M EPSRC Programme Grant targeting the multiscale fluid dynamics needed to simulate and design engineering flow systems of the future.
Dr Mark McAllister, a former PhD and Undergraduate student of the School of Engineering, has won the 16th ERCOFTAC Osborne Reynolds Oral Presentation Competition.
The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a Chancellor’s Fellow in the area of Geophysical Fluid Mechanics within the Institute for Energy Systems (IES). Research within IES is multi-disciplinary in nature, providing the opportunity to collaborate across the spectrum of renewable energy technology development, resource assessment, and socio-economics.
