Head of the School of Engineering, Conchúr Ó Brádaigh gives an overview of the potential of tidal energy, the university's role in helping it achieve that potential, and the forthcoming launch of FastBlade the university's new tidal blade testing facility in Rosyth, which opens on 13 May.
The e-Drive project team launched the Edinburgh Wave Systems Simulation Toolbox during a workshop led by Dr Richard Crozier at the International Conference on Ocean Energy in Cherbourg, France on June 14th.
The annual IMEchE Renewable Strategy Engineering Competition for 2016 is now open for submissions. This competition is open to students and graduate engineers of all ages - Undergraduate students (BEng, BSc, MEng), Postgraduates (MSc, MRes, PhD) and industry-based engineers.
