IEEE Transactions

In IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, Alin Panca, Hannah Levene, Andreas Tsiamis, Hannah Levene, Spyros Stathopoulos and Themis Prodromakis present the development of Indium–Gallium–Zinc Oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistors specifically engineered as selectors for memristive crossbar arrays. These IGZO TFT can enhance the performance and scalability of memristive memory systems, paving the way for more efficient in-memory computing architectures. CHIMES-IKC Workshop

In January 2026, Themis Prodromakis attended the CHIMES-IKC workshop at the University of Sheffield. As co-lead from the University of Edinburgh, he is looking forward to advancing semiconductor technologies and heterogeneous integration system design to deliver the UK’s semiconductor strategy. CEF is thrilled to be part of the UK’s electronic systems design community, driving innovation and industry impact.

MEMRISYS 2025

In October 2025 we hosted the international conference MEMRISYS 2025  at the International Conference and Exhibition Centre, Edinburgh - with keynote speakers including Leon Chua and Stanley Williams. Over four days, more than 200 attendees engaged with oral and poster presentations, live demos, tutorials and panel discussions.
