Abstract submission

How to submit?

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations at NEMD 2026.

All abstracts must adhere to the prescribed template (see below) and be submitted via email to: xxxxx@ed.ac.uk

Please include the text “NEMD 2026 Abstract” in the subject line of your email.

Authors will receive confirmation of receipt within 5 working days of submission.

The abstract submission deadline is <date>. Abstracts received after this date will not be considered.

Abstract Guidelines

Please note the following submission requirements:

  • The abstract must be no longer than 300 words
  • Abstracts must be text-only
  • References, if included, must fit within the word limit
  • Abstracts must be submitted as a PDF file
  • Templates are provided in Microsoft Word and LaTeX formats

After Submission

All submitted abstracts will undergo review by the conference organisers.

Accepted extended abstracts will be included in the NEMD 2026 conference proceedings, subject to timely registration of at least one presenting author.

Please note that:

  • No full paper submission is required
  • Accepted abstracts may be assigned to oral or poster presentations, depending on programme constraints
