Dear Civil Engineering Students,
You are all cordially invited to the Poster Day for Civil Engineering Final Year Theses where all thesis project groups will present their posters. Come out and build the Civil Engineering community with all students and academics in our discipline! Everyone attends will have a vote for the best poster prizes.
Please sign up for the event at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/civil-engineering-final-year-thesis-poster-day-tickets-13989790841 for catering purpose. The places are on a first come first served basis due to room constraint.
The details of the event is as follows.
The venue will be on the top floor of Alexander Graham Bell and William Ranking Buildings centring around the AGB seminar room.
The time is from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, which is moved a bit earlier to offset the clash with the Engineering Career affair.
Pizza will be provided from 12:30 at the landing areas on the third floor and snacks and soft drink throughout the event.
1:00 - 2:30 will be organised viewing of the posters.
2:30 - 3:00 voting for best posters one first and one second prize based on popular vote. Please note that voting and assessment are separate and independent. A presentation from the TRADA design award wining team will be given.
3:00 - 3:30 announce and present the award. The winning groups give presentation of their posters.
