Brief additional remarks
Dr. Ying Xin did intensive work on new material synthesis and characterization, HTS bulk, 1G, and 2G wires from 1987 to 1999. He was the team leader of a 35kV/121MVA HTS cable, a 35kV/90MVA FCL, and a 220kV/300MVA FCL projects at Innopower during 2001-2012. He is the inventor of more than 30 patents in the fields of HTS materials and applied superconductivity.
