The annual IMEchE Renewable Strategy Engineering Competition for 2016 is now open for submissions. This competition is open to students and graduate engineers of all ages - Undergraduate students (BEng, BSc, MEng), Postgraduates (MSc, MRes, PhD) and industry-based engineers.
On 9th and 10th May 2016, Sasa Djokic, IES, hosted the second meeting of a joint CIGRE/CIRED Working Group (JWG) C4.42: "Continuous Assessment of Low-Order Harmonic Emissions from Customer Installations".
The Agile Tomography group, affiliated in the Institute for Digital Communications (IDCoM), is selected to demonstrate its state-of-the-art electrical tomography imaging technique at the 2016 Edinburgh International Science Festival at the National Museum of Scotland, from 31 March to 4 April.
Dr Duncan Sutherland, who has recently completed his PhD in the Institute for Energy Systems (IES), has been awarded a Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers (WCSIM) Postgraduate Prize.
