Electrochem 2022

Location:

John McIntyre Centre (Pollock Halls of Residence), University of Edinburgh

Date:

Sunday, September 4, 2022 - 18:00 to Tuesday, September 6, 2022 - 17:00

Electrochem 2022 is part of the long-running Electrochem conference series that takes place at a different location within the UK or Ireland in August/September every year. The conference is organised jointly by the RSC Electrochemistry Group, the RSC Electroanalytical Sensing Systems Interest Group, and the SCI Electrochemical Technology Group, with the Institute of Corrosion joining the conference in odd-numbered years (Electrochem 2022 will also include the 61th Corrosion Science Symposium).

The conference will take place on 4-6 September 2022 at the University of Edinburgh's John McIntyre Centre in the Pollock Halls of Residence area. The conference will provide a platform for sharing and discussing new insights into electrochemical science, and will be divided into three broad themes:

  1. Energy and Environmental
  2. Materials and Processes, and
  3. Physical and Fundamental

Electrochem 2022 will include a number of high-profile plenary lectures and award ceremonies, but also aims at actively encouraging student participation through talks, poster sessions and the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the luminaries in the field. Student rates are heavily subsidised and both RSC and SCI provide generous bursaries and presentation awards to maximize student participation.
