School of Engineering Research Conference 2023

The Engineering Graduate School organises a School Research Conference every year to showcase the work being carried out by students across the Research Institutes. The conference is a celebration of the research within the School of Engineering and encourages reflection upon your research and your future career plans. The conference is open to all members of the School (including undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff); research students from all years are expected to attend.

In 2023 the School Research Conference will be held in person for the first time since 2019.

Several prizes will be on offer at the 2023 conference:

  • Best 2-minute presentation (by popular vote)
  • Best 2nd year poster (according to the academic panel)
  • Best 2nd year poster (by popular vote)
  • Best Research Institute demonstration
  • Tutor / demonstrator prizes
