School conferences

The IEEE SSP workshop is one of the foremost international conferences on statistical signal processing and its applications. The 23rd edition of SSP will be held from 8-11 June 2025 in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. The programme will feature many world-class plenary speakers for emerging topics, as well as regular and special sessions covering the latest research and innovation in the field.

The 9th international conference will take place in September 2025 in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

University of Edinburgh hosting IBPSA-Scotland’s biennial uSIM conference on the 25 November 2024, at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI).

The School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh is proud to be hosting ICEC2024 - the second International Conference on Earthen Construction.

The 8th International ICARB Conference 2023 will be held in Edinburgh from 25-26 September 2023.

Since 1997, the Heat Powered Cycles series of conferences have been the privileged and only forum driving innovation on heat-centred processes. The 2023 edition comes home at The University of Edinburgh.

ICE IEEE/ITMC is the International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Innovation, part of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS). It developed from an early focus on the engineering method of concurrent engineering to the general organisation of the engineering process and its organization within the corporation and in networks.

This series of ECI conferences (on Boiling) has been very successful over the years, with the present conference the 8th in the series. Because of the close relationship between flow boiling and convective condensation (with respect to flow patterns, some heat transfer mechanisms and physically-based models), the topic of Condensation has been added to the Boiling conference this time.

The conference is a celebration of the research within the School of Engineering and encourages reflection upon your research and your future career plans.
