Outreach

Get involved in outreach programmes, activities and events run by the School of Engineering.

We are passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers. Our outreach programmes engage young people through hands-on activities, real-world challenges and thought-provoking role models. By showcasing the creativity, collaboration and impact of engineering, we aim to spark curiosity, build confidence and show that engineering is for everyone.

If you are a teacher, pupil, supporter or just interested in STEM, explore our opportunities and find out how to get involved.

If you’re interested in maths and science, and like to solve problems, then engineering could be for you!

If you would like further resources to support you in inspiring young learners, we have pulled together a variety of educational resources from engineering bodies:

If you come across an activity you would like to run with your class but are not sure how to get started, please get in touch with Dr Katie Grant and we would be happy to discuss how we might be able to support you.
