IES Seminar - Prof Frano Barbir - Why Hydrogen Critics Are Both Right and Wrong

Hydrogen is now in a focus of interest, not only in EU, and mass deployment of hydrogen from production to applications is being planned on the highest political level. However, there are still skeptics that need to be convinced that hydrogen is not only a viable but the key technology for full or deep decarbonisation of energy supply.

IES Seminar: Professor Hsiao-Dong Chiang - Optimal Power Flow Technology for Power Systems with Renewable Energy

We are pleased to announce our next speaker, <strong>Professor Hsiao-Dong Chiang</strong>, from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, on Friday 10th November 1pm-2pm to present his work on "Optimal Power Flow Technology for Power Systems with Renewable Energy: Theory, Computation, and Applications". The talk will take place in the Larch Lecture Theatre in the Nucleus. We will also use the video link below through MS Teams for those who prefer to join online.
