Inaugural Lecture of Prof Pankaj Pankaj, Chair of Computational Biomechanics

Computational modelling is being extensively employed to assess the biomechanical properties and response of bone and bone-implant systems. Recent years have seen increasing emphasis on the development of personalised or patient-specific models, to address clinical problems. Routine use of personalised models, which require numerous patient-specific features, remains a challenge.

IES Seminar - Prof Frano Barbir - Why Hydrogen Critics Are Both Right and Wrong

Hydrogen is now in a focus of interest, not only in EU, and mass deployment of hydrogen from production to applications is being planned on the highest political level. However, there are still skeptics that need to be convinced that hydrogen is not only a viable but the key technology for full or deep decarbonisation of energy supply.
